CPR IN SCHOOLS
CPR, if performed immediately, can double, or triple a person’s chance of survival. We create the next generation of lifesavers by giving all students and educators the opportunity to learn CPR and creating more qualified lifesavers in our communities.WORKFORCE TRAINING
A low-cost, time-efficient re-certification course for workforce groups including comprehensive training for your staff with a hands-on skill evaluation to meet state, board, or Joint Commission requirements. Keeping your company compliant is important. But we understand how big of a hassle it is tracking down certificates and making sure everyone is trained on time. Every group account comes with a free company dashboard where you can see training statuses in one place. Our approach ensures you focus on your business while we worry about compliance.HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS
Provide the care your patients need when they need it. It's what you do every day. But just as protocols for drug interventions change – so do methods for non-invasive treatments, like CPR. As part of our commitment to support safer communities, and support you in all that you do, we offer CPR for healthcare providers. Through these courses we're able to keep you up to date on the latest techniques, so you can maintain certifications and deliver the best possible care to your patients. Classes and information currently available to healthcare providers include:· CPR (one- and two-rescuer)
· AED
· Primary Assessment
· Ventilations (including BVM)
· Choking (conscious and unconscious)
DEALING WITH ASTHMA & ANAPHYLAXIS
Successful completion of this course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge and most importantly, confidence, to provide first aid treatment to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury, such as asthma or anaphylaxis. This includes the skills to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, and promote recovery.
BLENDED LEARNING
The American Red Cross offers a blended learning course for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED that prepares you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion.
PET FIRST AID & CPRDog CPR, like human CPR, is an emergency, life-saving procedure that uses artificial respirations and chest compressions to help revive a dog when they do not display any sign of breathing or have a heartbeat.
When a dog’s heart stops beating, or they stop breathing, oxygen levels in the blood drop quickly. Without oxygen, the kidney, liver, and other vital organs can fail. Once respiratory failure occurs, brain damage can also take place. It is important to act quickly and appropriately.
